Mechanical Engineering Manager (Mining)

Lead mechanical engineering and maintenance functions to ensure equipment reliability, compliance, and performance in mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical engineers, planners, and contractors
• Develop maintenance strategies for fixed and mobile plant
• Oversee shutdowns, capital projects, and budgets
• Ensure statutory compliance and safety standards
• Drive asset optimisation and continuous improvement

Role Purpose / Overview:
Lead mechanical engineering and maintenance functions to ensure equipment reliability, compliance, and performance in mining operations.

Experience Required:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–10+ years in mining maintenance leadership
• RPEQ registration or eligibility
• Experience with SAP/Pronto maintenance systems

• $180k – $220k AUD + super + bonuses
