Field Service Technician – Materials Handling Equipment

To carry out on-site servicing, repairs, and maintenance of materials handling equipment such as forklifts, lifting machinery, and warehouse equipment while delivering high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance of forklifts and industrial handling equipment
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults accurately
- Complete service documentation, maintenance reports, and part requisitions
- Deliver professional customer service while onsite at client facilities
- Ensure all work adheres to company, safety, and industry standards
Role Purpose / Overview:
To carry out on-site servicing, repairs, and maintenance of materials handling equipment such as forklifts, lifting machinery, and warehouse equipment while delivering high-quality customer service.
Experience Required:
- Trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Diesel Fitting, or similar)
- Experience working with forklifts or material handling equipment highly advantageous
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
- Valid driver’s licence
